My gas hot water tank will not not stay lit, how do I fix?
	Possible solution thermo couple burned out.

	Why doesn't my gas or electric hot water tank produce enough hot water for a shower?
	Dip tube could be broken. This will need repaired by a service technician.

	Why doesn't my electric hot water tank give me enough hot water for a long shower?
	This could be that the lower element is burned out.

	Why are we finding white flakes in our water and occasionally the water pressure is low ?
	Dip tube service is required and check aerator for debris, if white it could need replaced.

	Why does it seem like there is never enough hot water in the winter ?
	Normally city water coming "in" is colder in winter months, usually January through March. To compensate we turn "on" more hot water, using more hot water from the tank,causing it to "pull in" more cold water to replace the hot water removed. This decreases the speed of heater recovery.

	My hot water tank is leaking out the bottom, what should I do ?
	It's time to replace that tank !

	Why does my sump pump run so long ?
	This is probably due to a faulty switch, replace switch.

	What kind of backflow preventer do I have ?
	Look for a stamping on the device, it should have one of the following :                                             ASSE1020PVB, ASSE1013RP,  ASSE1015DC
